Friday Night Lights!

There are many advantages of "small town living" and tonight is one of the most fun and long living traditions. TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL!!!!

We have a new stadium so Hubs and I, along with a bunch of our friends bought season tickets this year. 12 kids 6 and under and a whole section of just for us! I'm sure our section will be escorted out at some point.

Tess has her cheerleading outfit, Bram has his jersey and I have a lot of cute purple tops and sundresses to dork out in. Love it!

My mom is coming tomorrow to hang out with us, so this is going to be a pretty darn good weekend.

And a "cool front" came in and it only got to 99 yesterday and it is only supposed to get to 95 today. I might need a sweater.

95?! Can you handle it?

Such fun to go to home town games. I have such good memories from my childhood doing this with my parents. Enjoy!

That is super cool. I always wondered if I could handle living in a place that lives & breathes football (according to the tv show anyhow) since I am not a big fan. I know, I suck. But I do like the part about chilling out with the whole fam eating bad food and drinking a few beers. Is there beer there?

Yeah....the 90's!!! Break out the winter clothes. We love high school football too. Mark loves everything football. He started taking Connor last year on Friday nights as their little one on one time. Then they would jack-in-the-crack tacos on the way home. but who do you think reaped those benefits? ummmm, me! At least this year Connor can go in the potty!

I wish there was beer served at HS football! I mean I am sure there is beer there. Sounds fun Coco. Purple? I can't wait to hear how rowdy your crew is. I am super excited about football season. Bring on the college ball!

How much fun! Footaball is huge in our house too, and I am sure high school football games on Friday nights are a few short years away for our family! Can't wait!
