Owning up to my drinking problem.

No one needs to call "Intervention" just yet, but I have experienced a alcoholic beverage like no other. One that I can't seem to get out of my head. Yummmmmmmy.

Yesterday, I went to my friend Cara's in Lakeway for a playdate and swimming. She made a delicious chicken salad and served us a refreshing "mommies who lunch" cocktail. It was to die for and I am going to have her post it on her funny blog. A grapefruit/vodka sensation that I am craving already. I only had one and a half but easily could of had six more if it weren't for the safety of my children and the rest of the greater Austin population.

You're Welcome.

But seriously, it would be a fun project and a great hostess gift. Confused yet? Like I said I am going to beg her to post pictures and the recipe for all of y'all to enjoy. So keep checking her blog until I can pester her into it.

And for those of y'all that don't drink. You will start now. Unless you are a recovering alcoholic, then I say "GOOD FOR YOU!" and please don't try this because I would hate to be the one responsible for you falling off the wagon.

Speaking of the television show "Intervention" if somebody comes and asks me to be on a Documentary regarding my addiction. I would totally be on to them. Especially when it was time for my "final interview." Do these peeps not watch television at all? It just surprises me that they can still find suckers to volunteer for this.

On a final random note, my tiny little Billy Ray will be getting her mullet chopped today. Thanks for the input and it is time to let it go. Her two strands of long hair will be cut into a toddler version of the bob. Bram will be getting his hair cut as well, per Hubby's request. I like the surfer look for the summer. Hubby is not a fan and we all know who calls the shots up in this joint!

Hehehehehehehehehehehhehe!!

Yes. Hubby is definitely in charge. Just like Blake is here at our house.

Hold on.....still laughing....hard to type.

Cut her damn hair. Aren't you just giddy at the thought that she has hair that needs to be cut?! Enjoy it! And, don't spend too much on accessories if you are going to a cute kids salon. My $17 haircut usually turns into a $40 bill once I add the bows.

I promise I will get to work on that drink post. I have another playdate this AM and then off to meet obnixous school folks to hear how I should be working instead of drinking. This evening, I will get to work. Promise.

Love fun drinks! I have a fabulous Sangria recipe I need to post from the JL San Diego cookbook.
As for Intervention -- I find myself watching that show a lot. I think most of those people are so stoned and drunk they don't watch TV like the rest of us.
Plus.. they're paying them $$ so they think 'what the hell'.. i can buy more whatever it is they're addicted to!

Okay- I totally have some questions for you about cloth diapering!! I really want to do it, but it seems like a big pain. I'm gonna add you as a friend on Facebook and then message you about this. Maybe you can encourage me to do it?!?!? And give me some pointers?
That drink sounds great...definitely need that recipe!
