A busy weekend ahead....

The Fourth of July weekend could very well be one of my favorites. It is one of those holidays that make me very happy I live in this precious little town in the middle of Texas Hill Country.

Tomorrow is our neighborhood parade, we will meet at a friends house that live on the route. Drink mimosas and have a brunch, then watch the dads drive the kiddos by on our festive golf cart. At the end of the route is cotton candy, ice cream, balloons, and a bounce house. A great time for the kiddos.

Later that afternoon we will head to Hubby's stepsister's home and enjoy a bbq with family and lots of kiddos. Then the fireworks! Yippee! Watching Bram watching the fireworks last year was a highlight for sure. I can't wait for Tess to see it all this year!!!

On Sunday I am heading to Weatherford for an entire WEEK. Bram has Zoo Camp and I have lots of visiting to do. I can't wait.

I hope everyone has a fantastic 4th!

I have some pictures below that I have had in the computer for awhile. Some bathroom decor ideas. I have gotten some of my best ideas off of blogs and so when I get to thinkin' about it, I try to take pics of things that get a lot of "great idea!" and pass it on to you guys. And I hope y'all do the same.

I mentioned before that I frame Bram's bday invite with a picture from his party. This is from this year. I use the same frame and mattes every year. Just tape the pic on the back with painters tape so it doesn't mess up the matting. The pic and invite from the year before go in a special photo album just for birthdays.

This is the little polka dot pot I have in the guest/kiddo bathroom. I keep it stocked with Burts Bees goodies. It is funny how often I have to restock it. Lotion, toner, bath salts, hair spray, shampoo and conditioner, a comb, and a toothbrush. We have a lot of spend the night company so this is a must!

Naked bath and swimming pictures fill the walls!

And this seems to be everyone's favorite. Hubby's grandmother had this at their cabin. After they sold the cabin it sat in a closet for years. Luckily Iddy thought I might want it, YOU THINK!!!!???
I love it. It is just a simple quilt topper that she had made into a curtain. I ran a curtain rod through the top and bottom and hung it above the shower curtain. It gives the bathroom tons of color and really is precious.
Anyone could do it!!!!

And lets just take a look at this angel baby with wet piggy tails. Hubby gave her her bath and didn't know how to take out the "do." Bless him!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy and food/drink filled weekend!!!!!

Ta-ta for now!

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned!!! Love the wet piggy tails!

By the way, to answer your question about my mismatched bathing suit, the top is from Old Navy, and the bottom is from Sun Pac. I love mixing them up!

Oh I meant to ask if you're making the baked french toast or another casserole???? If the french toast then don't forget to sprinkle with cinnamon before baking. I added that to the recipe and forgot write that on my blog.
