Take along some of your favorite things, cause your gonna need them...

This is going to be a rambling Coco post. Rambling yet fascinating. Trust me.

First, say a prayer for Hill Country Pediatric Dentistry today. Not just the dentist but probably the entire establishment.

My kids are going this morning. I have a feeling it isn't going to end well.

Second, I woke up yesterday morning to sensitive teeth. Weird huh? I can't drink cold water or hot coffee. It hurts. Why does this happen? Should I ask the kid's dentist?

Third, I am getting a bit irritated with this Texas weather. Warm. Me no likey. I like cool/cold in the fall, I'm crazy like that. Especially heading into the holidays. Boo. Luckily, I will be heading to Kansas City in a few weeks and it better be super cold! Like snow. Make it happen, Casey. Ok? Thanks.

Fourth, I mentioned Tess was having some sleep issues. They seem to of gotten much better the past few days. No more 4:45 am wake up calls. But last night, as I went to check on my chickens, I found her sitting in front of her bedroom door. In total darkness.

EVERYONE knows that wearing bunny ears in the dark prevents you from actually having to go to bed. What? You didn't get that memo? Nor did I.

After this photo was taken, she was promptly put back in bed. She did come in this morning with the ears still on. Why are my kids weird?

Fifth, tomorrow I am leaving for Weatherford. Dropping the kiddos off with the parentals and heading to my 11th annual girls ranch weekend. It is with 10 of my college friends that I actually keep up with quite a bit, but this is a tradition that keeps on giving. It is funny because we started "ranch weekend" when we were husband and kidless, living in Dallas, and all living within a mile radius from each other. I guess being footloose and fancy free, "getting away" was a must. Life was hard.

With that said, I will not be returning to my 'hood until Wednesday. This makes packing for my little freakshows quite difficult. What is the weather going to do? So lots o' clothes to be packed. I have to make sure Tess' kitty AND puppy and a plethora of pacis are packed. Bram keeps telling me he HAS to bring his Hulk to show Gran-T and Mikey. Ugh. My parent's house is very well stocked for the chillens but I still want to make sure I have everything from home that will make the weekend easier for mi madre en mi padre.

I'm just extra special nice like that. And thoughtful. And pretty.

I guess I shouldn't worry about it, if I forget something I am almost certain Gran-T and Mikey will make sure whatever is wanted appears in a timely fashion.

Hubby will be here all alone. I know most think that I am the bad ass of the family, and with me being gone, our house is a beacon for thieves. Wrong. Hubby has a lot of guns and bullets.

So please don' t come and try to steal all my priceless jewels.

Sixth, I have already done my Christmas cards. Holy TOLEDO they are too die for. If I do say so myself. And I do say so. There is a possibility that I will win again this year. Win? Yes, in my head I pick the cutest Christmas card of all I receive (receiving Christmas cards is one of my favorite things in the world). Mine have won the past 2 years. Aaaaaannnnnnnndddddd,I think I have a winner again this year. Yet, I have seen another card that another OCD friend has already completed. I have to say, the competition is going to be fierce this year.

Seventh, I hope y'all have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious rest of the week and weekend. I know I will!!!

Eighth, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is actually on spell check. Who knew?

ta-ta for now!

I want a ranch weekend!! This time of year makes me listen to country. I hate it every other time of year.

Please don't let Casey make it snow before December. Please. I can't believe you're comin to KC! This means you really exist. Weird.

Bunny ears? Totally acceptable. Alone on the floor in the dark with them? Questionable.

You and your family are always welcome to come and visit us here in Calgary. The temp. hasn't been above 45 since we moved here. We have also had enough snow to shovel TWICE since the first of Oct. We have any extra room, stocked play room for the kiddos, and a stocked wine fridge for the adults! You can bring CB with you :)!

Have a great weekend! I am too jealous of your girls weekend!

I meant to say an extra room - not any extra room.
