I came very close to being able to jump through a phone yesterday and strangle the guy from Dell who, in broken English, was trying to help me figure out what was wrong with my computer. Seriously, I could feel my body start to change and form into a glob of fury. This glob of Coco would of easily slid through the phone and straight to where ever the hell the Dell guy was reading his "script" from.
And it wasn't the good ol' USA. That is fo'sho'.
Lucky for me, we have an awesome computer place here in our cute little town, and they got me all fixed up in a jiffy. Thank the LORD!
Yesterday was a yucky day.

Dell reps seem to bring out the best in people. Me, for sure.
Glad you're back, baby!
I will never understand why put the people with the WORST communication skills on jobs like 6that! Drives me nuts...
Yay! Glad you're back. Man, oh man. Hate to deal with those folks. They bring out the anger blob in me as well.
Oh yes..I love when they try to make small talk with you when they are researching also. Soo frustrating. About a month ago, the husband and i made a pact. We will never buy a PC again. We are going MAC at Christmastime.
Didn't he understand that you had some blog'n to do!!! HELLO!
Glad you are back with us!
You know, I totally appreciate it what you are trying to say. I have had to deal with that type of thing at my jobs the past 8 years and have been so frustrated to the point of tears myself. These companies, including Sears and some airlines have these call centers overseas because they're cheaper but they are Soooooo frustrating. The funniest is when you ask them a question and they are forced to read outside of their script. They keep saying the same thing over and over as if they didn't hear you. I DID hear something on the news saying they might be doing away with these call centers because of lack of customer satisfaction.
Or they say their names are, "Ricky."
Been there done that and it was NOT pretty. I feel for you. I'm glad it is all better now!
