Decoupage

I want to decoupage my powder bath. I was wanting to wallpaper but heard about this technique and think it will be P.R.E.C.I.O.U.S.

All I need to do is use scrapbooking paper, wall paper glue and some Mod Podge.

Is this a project I might try? I think it is.

Does anyone have any tips? Or does anybody scrapbook and know where they have super cute scrap booking paper?

This project will be started in a couple of weeks. When I am in town and when Hubby is hunting and I can't get in too much trouble when I have to call the painters to come fix my decoupaging debacle!

I don't scrap book or anything of the like, but girl I have done EVRYTHING there is to do in home improvements - currently finishing up some tiling in the master bath shower. Hey, I'm unemployed, I have nothing but time (lol).

Shannie, I can't find a picture online. I saw this in a boutique's bathroom. Next week I will go in and take pics. It is really cute and will be hard to mess up I would think.

I did a bathroom once in brown paper bag. I ripped apart brown contractor's paper, slapped a little wallpaper glue on it and there you go. It was really cute and super easy. You can then put a glaze on it. I never did that part. Negatives... bathrooms get dusty and nasty from hairspray and junk so it seems a little funky after awhile. When you want it gone, it really SUCKS taking it off. I'm not sure if this is remotely like what you are going to do, but there's my 2 cents (worth less in actual value).
